Forbes feature article written by Charlie Fink, a former tech executive covering VR, AR and new media

Charlie Fink, a former tech executive covering VR, AR and new media for Forbes, recently published an article focusing on his projected major players in the Location Based VR industry for 2018. Charlie has written other articles in the past asking the question Can VR Save the Movie Theater, or the Mall?, and states, “There are several companies working to expand the appeal of traditional movie going with this new technology.”

But who are the companies behind this innovation? Fink offers his thoughts:

  • Dreamscape Immersive
  • SpringboardVR
  • Two-Bit Circus
  • Zero Latency
  • The VOID
  • HOLOGATE
  • AiSolve’s WePlayVR
  • Hyperverse

Fink concludes his article with this statement: “One VRcade won’t save the mall, but what if the all these other attractions were there together? It would be like a food court for LBVR. Perhaps that’s what Two-Bit Circus will unveil. This much is clear: no one knows how this is going to turn out.”
